Michael's Philosophy:

I know that exercising regularly is very important to one’s health. I believe that exercise does not need to be boring or mundane, it can and should be fun and rewarding! For me Olympic Weightlifting started out as a fun way to keep in shape then quickly evolved into me competing and coaching the sport. Having a facility to train in that is modern, well equipped, central and very welcoming with experienced coaches and members, makes the process so much easier, I am proud to be able to contribute to providing such a facility for our clients.

Gaylene's Philosophy:

As a working mum of 4 children, I know how busy life can be, yet I understand the importance of incorporating exercise into our daily routine. People exercise for a number of reasons, to look and feel better, reduce health risks or to perhaps improve sports performance, either way I believe it should be a fun and enjoyable experience. As a Coach I thoroughly enjoy getting to know clients and love seeing them achieve their personal health and fitness goals, to be part of the process is very rewarding.

COACH

CLARISSA HOWE

Qualifications:

Certificate III and Certificate lV in Fitness

Clarissa's Philosophy:

I am very passionate about training, health and how it all correlates to our well being in all of our lives.

It excites me, to be able to transfer my knowledge to others and helping them achieve their goals no matter what it is, motivating them and seeing their smiles when they achieve something they really didn't think they could. Love that!!

Training is as I truly believe is so much more.. hanging with other awesome humans, sweating it out together, learning new skills, having great banter and laughter along the way. Fitness is fun, and damn worth all the effort, it entails.

COACH

STEPHANIE PICKRELL

Stephanie's Philosophy:

Having been a youth olympic weightlifting athlete myself, I know how important it is to have an engaging coach who not only can help me improve my technique and strength but can also adapt my training to suit my changing lifestyle and priorities to keep the sport enjoyable.

This has led me to have a passion for coaching that is targeted towards guiding and encouraging the future generations of Olympic Weightlifting. My top priority when coaching is for everyone in the class to have fun and leave the gym excited for the next class.

Testimonials

I joined ALIGN as I enjoy fitness and this gives me an area to release when I have finished my work day. ALIGN provides a positive atmosphere to support you through your workouts. The atmosphere and members in the gym are an asset and keep you motivated while you are working out. Thanks for providing me with the motivation and support I need to continue my fitness journey!

Ange Young

I am a foundation member of ALIGN starting in January 2019. I have made, to me, completely amazing progress. I have improved my balance, confidence, strength and motivation. To all members of ALIGN, a big thank you for your encouragement over the last year.

Elaine Eyers

ALIGN has created an environment that is positive, supportive and friendly, while being sufficiently challenging. They are committed to making participants feel encouraged and supported in their efforts to achieve a level of fitness that suits themselves, then gently pushes them a bit further – with a bit of good humour thrown in.

Henry & Wendy

With running and swimming being a big part of my usual fitness routine, I joined ALIGN to introduce more of a strength component into my training. ALIGN makes motivating yourself a hell of a lot easier with the coaches and other members all encouraging and pushing each other as a team to get the most out of each other. So far my general fitness and strength in particular has improved immensely. To those thinking of joining ALIGN, I’d say just do it! You won’t regret it!

Jordan Russel-Green

I have been training at ALIGN since it opened, and there's no looking back for me. The gym itself is spacious, brand new and with easy parking. But for me it’s the trainers who go the extra steps to making training so enjoyable and keeping you accountable with your fitness and health goals, spending time with us to ensure we are training hard, trying new things and getting the best out of ourselves.
