Danny’s Philosophy:

Exercise isn’t a stage of your life, it’s a lifestyle. Finding that balance between family, work, social life and exercising is extremely important for ongoing happiness and your health.

As a Coach I love seeing clients develop as they learn about themselves and what they are capable of, that sense of accomplishment after every workout, exercise should be fun, purposeful and beneficial no matter your ability or level of fitness.

No matter if your goal is to feel better, lose weight, improving strength and performance or being able to take on whatever life throws at us you should give yourself every chance to achieve it!

Michael's Philosophy:

I know that exercising regularly is very important to one’s health. I believe that exercise does not need to be boring or mundane, it can and should be fun and rewarding! For me Olympic Weightlifting started out as a fun way to keep in shape then quickly evolved into me competing and coaching the sport. Having a facility to train in that is modern, well equipped, central and very welcoming with experienced coaches and members, makes the process so much easier, I am proud to be able to contribute to providing such a facility for our clients.

Gaylene's Philosophy:

As a working mum of 4 children, I know how busy life can be, yet I understand the importance of incorporating exercise into our daily routine. People exercise for a number of reasons, to look and feel better, reduce health risks or to perhaps improve sports performance, either way I believe it should be a fun and enjoyable experience. As a Coach I thoroughly enjoy getting to know clients and love seeing them achieve their personal health and fitness goals, to be part of the process is very rewarding.

CLARISSA HOWE

Clarissa's Philosophy:

I am very passionate about training, health and how it all correlates to our well being in all of our lives.

It excites me, to be able to transfer my knowledge to others and helping them achieve their goals no matter what it is, motivating them and seeing their smiles when they achieve something they really didn't think they could. Love that!!

Training is as I truly believe is so much more.. hanging with other awesome humans, sweating it out together, learning new skills, having great banter and laughter along the way. Fitness is fun, and damn worth all the effort, it entails.

Danielle's Philosophy:

I believe that anyone at anytime can start their fitness journey and it’s never “too late”. Whilst I’ve now been training, competing and coaching in CrossFit and weightlifting for over 10 years I didn’t start to do exercise until I was in my twenties. I wasn’t a sporty kid… but one day decided to take a trial class at a local gym and didn’t look back. My passion is coaching and encouraging all, but especially women to not be afraid to lift weights, to move well, and to be proud of being fit and strong, whatever their individual goal may be. I believe that as soon as you walk into a gym that boasts a supportive environment, backed by experienced and friendly coaches that you can find your happy place and make that change or progress the health and fitness goals you’ve been working towards.

Whether it's tackling a long run, pushing through a mentally demanding project, or lifting heavy weights, there’s a common thread that ties these challenges together: mindset and attitude. It’s through embracing these tests of strength that we often discover a sense of calm amid the storm. Weightlifting, like any sport, demands focus, confidence, and determination to transcend limits. As a weightlifting coach, my mission is to guide my clients along a path of growth, walking beside them as they cultivate a self-assuredness that defines their unique journey.

Alex's Philosophy:

I fundamentally believe exercise is for everyone. It’s such a vital part of life and helps to keep us physically and psychologically healthy and I am very passionate about ensuring it is accessible for everyone. My favourite part of coaching and supporting people to exercise is finding and setting a goal and working towards that goal as a team. Whether that be just to have some time to yourself, make everyday tasks easier, achieve something you never thought you could or even to compete they are equally important. I’m very lucky to be a small part of that journey.
